I just took myself. Didn't think of anything else.....I slept most of the time......hospital gave me toothbrush and tooth paste.....

From reading previous post others suggest you bring chap stick and Gas X dissolve strips. Good Luck with your surgery.

I've heard a lot of people say a heating pad. Don't hospitals have them?

On my list is ear plugs and eye mask, my own pillow, Chapstick, headphones and charger for my phone/iPod.

Take a robe and comfortable shoes. Your going to walk a lot!!

What all the above said and I suggest checking the post in this thread "What do you need for your surgery" for more helpful suggestions. Pack light, you won't need much.

I brought a change of clothes, my iPhone and a charger. I didn't need much, between sleeping, walking, drinking and visitors I didn't gave time for much else. Best wishes

Gas strips, robe, slippers, tooth brush, cell phone charger, portable vaporizer. (Sometimes nurses are jerks and try to cut off pain meds after one day.)

Make sure you tell them you're in pain and they will give you something......
