  1. Highest Weight 280 Surgery 9/17/2012 weight 231 Current weight 187 I've been eating a lot lately. Seems like the more people that tell me how much weight I've lost the more I stuff my face.
  2. 8 days post op. I had a really small piece of egg white and like 4 teaspoons of chilli. High protein is really important I've been slacking lately and my weight loss has come to a crawl
  3. I had my surgery on 9/17/2012 was 232 day of and as of today I'm 192
  4. I felt 85% better after the first week. I actually went back to work within a week after surgery. I did have a pain in my right side for a good 5 weeks. My doctor told me that's where he pulled my stomach out.
  5. I ate sf Jello and pudding for like a a week I couldn't stomach Protein drinks for about a month I ate some egg whites around day 8 post op and I was fine. I had surgery at Lutheran in Brooklyn 9/17 I've lost 40 lbs post op. so far. You'll stop thinking about food so much when you over eat a few times. For me it feels like I'm having a heart attack when I over eat.
  6. You'll know. As soon as you start to feel full Stop eating. The first few days post op it took me an entire day to eat a sugar free Jello a week or so after that I could suck one of Those jellos back in a few mins. Then I started to push it. I ignored my body and kept eating and it felt like I was having a heart attack. I had to throw up to make the pain go away.
  7. Thank you everyone for the kind words. Reading everyone's post on here really helped me get through the last few weeks. I don't have a current full body but I think you can see the weight loss in my face.
  8. Finally after 3 weeks at the 203-206 range Highest weight 280 2011 Pre op 232 9/17/12
  9. Don't do it! I went crazy eating everything I could get my hands on before surgery because i thought "ill never get to eat it again". I gained like and extra 15 lbs before surgery. Ill be 2 months post op on the 17th and I can still eat the foods I thought I wouldn't be able too.
  10. Gas strips, robe, slippers, tooth brush, cell phone charger, portable vaporizer. (Sometimes nurses are jerks and try to cut off pain meds after one day.)
  11. I have the same numbers pre and post op and the same surgery date. I started biking to work so hopefully my numbers will drop more soon.
  12. I rode my bike to work yesterday and again today. I gained 2 lbs over night. I have a scale at work and weight myself in the morning I know it's horrible to weigh in everyday but its my only current addiction

  16. One month and 2 days post op. down 21lbs Every time I see that I'm tagged in a photo on Facebook I cringe in fear of how Awful I'm going to look. Above is two photos of me that people posted Facebook. I can't get over how different my face looks. I wish I could fast forward a few months

  19. It will be! I'm not going to lie my first week was pretty horrible but I was only out of work for a week and within 3 weeks I felt back to normal. I did horrible on my pre op diet I lost nothing really because I gained 5lbs before I started my pre op diet . But now one month and 2 days post op I'm down 21lbs. And I ate cake twice this week.

  21. I started biking because I hate the subway and the MTA fees keep going up. But now I love watching the sunrise over manhattan and all the Beautiful Scenery you miss when you're too busy trying to catch a train. Hopefully it won't be too cold when I reach my 6 week mark in 2 weeks
