You know, for those of you that are tired of sweet - have you tried Unjury chicken Soup flavored Protein? It looks and smells a little "off", but its really not bad. I mix it with about 1/4 cup of actual chicken broth to boost the flavor, and it's actually pretty good like that. Sometimes you need something that feels more like a meal than a dessert.

I am on the one week mark of my two week liquid Protein fast...I am not as hungry as I was... but I still definitely get hungry. My doc allows broth' date=' popsicles and sugar free Jello, but no actual food to snack on... I really miss chewing, and ice is out because my teeth are sensitive to cold. But my surgery date is Mon Oct 22, so I am hopeful that this last week will pass quickly! I drink a LOT of Water anyway, so that has been no problem. Just. Missing. Food! :o)[/quote']

@strangefruit: Good luck on your surgery. I'm heading in on Wednesday and i'm hopeful for a speedy recovery because I need to head back to work on the 29th. You are in my thoughts!

I'm going to hold off since i'm going in for a colonoscopy on the 22nd. I've been on a true liquid diet since 3am. The next day after that, i'm still on liquids pending the sleeve. I added more Soups to my diet to offset the sweet and it did the job. I'm down 10 lbs over the past 2 weeks - yippee!

I hope Im as good as you all are at this, I did it for 2 weeks when I had the lap band in 2007. The only good thing about is this time is that I only have to do it for 3 days, but Ive been so weak and 3 days will feel like 2 weeks Lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
