Drinking Question

Recommended Posts

Ok so i havent had the sleeve done yet. I know i wont be able to drink as much or at all for awhile which is fine lol. I dont drink much now but i could drink with the best of them lol

So my question is how much can u tolerate after and im not talking about an all night alchol fest. Like maybe getting a few drinks for a bday or somethin.

Just curious.

Gosh, I would just take one day at a time and go from there! Some people can have a drink 3 months out and some don't. Good luck on your journey! Are you going for the sleeve? :)

I sat next to dinner with a gal who owns a large winery who drank along with us all night just fine. She's two years out I believe but wine is their business so I think she gets lots of practice :) I'd guess she had four generous glasses of wine that night at least.

Had my sleeve done 13 months ago. Quit drinking for 4 months then slowly back to it. Procedure was great having lost 120 pounds to date. Drinking more of a challenge. Desire to drink daily seems enhanced and with reduced stomach and weight you can not drink quantities that you used to prior or you will get snookered real easy. My New Years resolution will be to try and quit permanently. Loosing out on to much in life with alcohol dependence.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
