Ortiz And Alighterme

Recommended Posts

I had VGS in June with Dr. Ariel Ortiz at Obesity Control Center. I couldn't have asked for better care!

The Doctors and Center are wonderful!!! It was more expensive than some of the others but I don't regret that a bit!

I looked into a few other places that was less expensive but glad I choose OCC and Dr. Ortiz.< /p>

Good Luck!

I originally booked with him and cancelled and I am glad I did. A girl that was there at the same time had some major complications and it seemed like he didn't care at all. Take it for what it's worth but be careful!

Wow, that is a shocker if you are talking about Dr. Ariel Ortiz!

Dr. Ortiz, Dr. Martinez, Dr. Miranda and the entire staff was wonderful when I was there. They took extra time and spoke to all the patients at length. The care I was given was wonderful. The day after my surgery, I wasn't feeling very good. Not so much pain but just didn't feel like I should. They took me right in and gave me an IV (not enough sipping Water on my part) and made sure I was much much better before I left.

I have never had such concern and great care by doctors and a facility here in the States. I was totally impressed!

So sorry to hear someone else had a bad experience! : (

I too had surgery w/ Dr Ariel Ortiz @ OCC and can't say enough good things about him and all the staff. They responded to emails b4 and after. Sent followup surveys on my health every Monday for several weeks. I marked one small comment on one and got a phone call from the doctor w/in 1 hr of response to discuss.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
