Pills and the Band

Recommended Posts

Well Ok this may be gross to some people but I could never do the desolving of all my pills then taking them its way too gross. So I came up with my own method. One at a time I stick a pill in the side of my teeth and chew it up as tiny as I can get it then I take a big sip of Water and swallow it down, The bad taste only lasts a minuet that way. Then I do it over and over a few times I also have to take a capsual medication so I pull it apart dump it on my tongue and gulp down some water again. after thats all done I wash it all down with my chewable muti Vitamin which is almost like desert at this point. So far this is the best method I have found for taking my pils because they are all pretty large and I hate tasting them. I never space them out when I take them I just want to get it over with, They are almost my Breakfast sadly lol. ;)

Just be sure that if you're crushing pills that they can be taken that way. If you crush a 'time release' pill you get the full dose immediately and it can be dangerous.

If you're not sure if it's ok to crush YOUR meds, talk to your doctor before you do it!

As for me, I take Biotin, Flax Seed Oil, Vitamin E, and Nexium every day. I only wait a few seconds between each pill and haven't had a problem . . . so far. I also take a Multi-Vitamin every day but it's liquid so it doesn't really apply to this thread!

Thats sounds horrible. I guess that beacuse I only had one fill Im able to swollow 3-4 pills (not small ones) at once withouth any problems. It definitely helps that I drink like two cups of Water with the pills to flush them dow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
