Wishing you all the best today! As long as there is no fever and your lungs are clear, you should be ok. Colds are miserable though right after surgery:( hopefully it all works out for you!

Oh no!! Hopefully it hasn't settled into your chest. At the least the worst thing that can happen is that you have to push your date back... at least it won't be cancelled 100%. It still would stink majorly, but chin up! Don't be dismayed until you have to be.

Thanks alot allnewme.i should be fine then.cant wait to get it done woo hoo.i dont think il be woo hooing tomorrow tho lol (pain)

You will do great! Everyone's pain is different. I had no pain or nausea. I was blessed :0 I wish you the same. Where you are right now is the tough spot. Waiting. Soon they will put you under and you will wake up on the losers bench. It is good. May God be with you and your surgeon today!

I went in with allergies... snotty nose, the whole nine yards... came home with a upper respiratory infection.. Day 9 of the nastiest antibiotic liquids every.. ugh... coughing after surgery is fun anyway but when you have too? OUCH!

Well after 4 lots of blood taken.my arm is lymp lol.they dont want to giv today lol.my stupid bank wont allow the payment to go out becouse of fraud.what after ive phoned them 3 times to tell them its going out wtf.

My son has a cold, and I have been avoiding him like the plague, even sent him to live in his room the first week home. He has to wear a mask all the time in the house, and sanitize several times an hour...wash, not touch railings, lysol the door knobs...etc. The last thing I need is to end up back in the hospital with a bad cold and my asthma.

If you have to wait...you'll get through it....I wouldn't want to have a cold and be a day post-op...especially if it involves coughing.

Hey you seem to be feeling much better, I have to admit that your first post op posts had me scared!! Happy to see all has turned out well:)

I would suggest for pre op folks, daily Vitamin C and purell in your pocket. Avoid sick infectious people, crowded gatherings. But above all

wash or purell your hands as much as possible!

Oh, and unless there is a reason you shouldn't, consider a flu shot (personal preference, but advised)
