I'm just curious if anybody else has the same situation. I'm 5'6 but when I'm sitting I'm actually taller than my husband who's 6'! I'm wondering how this affects my sleeve size and my "goal" in the end? Anyone else?

I am curious, even if you have a tall torso and your height is 5'6", then how would that make you 6'? :)

She's saying he has a long body and I'm guessing shorter legs. I'm the same way. My husband is taller than I am standing. But sitting down, my torso is longer so it appears that I am taller.

I wish I knew the answer to the OP's question. I've read on here our pouch may be a bit bigger or our stomach may be longer than others. But honestly, I haven't a clue. Not sure if it really affects anything except finding decent fitting tops!! Ha!

And that first sentence should be a 'she' not a 'he'.

Yes, Dexter is right! I have a long body and short legs. Unfortunately I inherited this from my dad. He's 5'9 but when he's sitting he's taller than everyone in the room. :) Oh well, it was just a thought. I imagine my goal weight my be a little more than someone with long legs and a shorter torso.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
