Pear Shaped, Apple Shaped, Hourglass?

Recommended Posts

I've always been pear shaped... well now I'm just kinda ROUND..lol.

I was just wondering... Those of you who have met your goal weights, if you were pear/apple etc before, are you still shaped the same?

I'm hoping to be more proportionate after my weight loss.

(I tell my kids I have the figure of a coca cola bottle...too bad it's a two liter. LOL)

I have always had an hourglass figure... Just a bigger one!! I had my surgery April 16th and am down 89lbs so far. I have been keeping up my on my measurements and I am happy to report that I am losing evenly. So far I have lost 12 inches off my hips, 11 inches off my waist and 12 inches off my bust!! It's crazy how this weight is falling off!! Best decision I have ever made!!!! :)

Lovin my sleeve!!!!

This topic reminds me of my dad! My sisters are very neat shapes. They use to say they had shapes like the old coke bottles and I would cry and say "why can't I be shaped like a coke bottle" and my dad would say "baby u shape like a gallon of milk" if u ask a hungry man which would he prefer a coke or a gallon of milk...now u go figure..lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
