Mine was a little longer wait. I had a hematoma at an incision sight..I found cowgirl position was helpful because then I controlled everything. Once you have no pain, get as wild as you want!

I wouldn't. Give yourself the 2 months healing! If he can't wait for your full healing...get a new guy.

TWO MONTHS......

I think I was two weeks post op. As I just didn't have the energy but as soon as I did I was doing it.

I'll probably make it to the weekend (around 10 or so days post op) before I attack my husband. LOL Intimacy is important to both of us. We are told whenever we are comfortable after 5 days.

Take it slow and have fun! :)

Thanks, I'm not too worried about pregnancy, I have the mirena IUD, and a 1 year old.... That's enough birth control for me! Lol. And if I did get prego, I would take it as a beautiful and wonderful thing! People have gotten pregnant quickly, our bodies can do amazing things :)

I told my doctor I had the Mirena when we talked about birth control and sex. He said, just be careful as stranger things have happened. Hahah. Seeing as how we don't have kids yet, we would consider it a blessing as well.

I've had my mirena since we had my daughter 15 months ago, if I haven't gotten pregnant yet, then I think we're fine. I've done a lot more crazy things sexually before this sleeve that'd be not willing to try so quickly post op, so I think we're okay. But you're right, people can still get prego, everything's only 99.9% effective. Besides abstinence! And that's NOT my style! Lmao

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
