Leaving For The Hospital! Surgery Today =)

Went for a short walk yesterday..got tired really fast. Was able sit for a bit..mouth is very clamy...now I'm up trying to drink 2oz of Water liquid Protein and Crystallight...only thing I can handle right now is water.. Crystal light is too sweet cramps my stomach. Blowing in that tube just isn't happening. No gas pains but every time I butler I feel light I want to throw-up...

Im in the hospital too eating some chicken broth and water...which is awesome because its the first thing ive been alot to drink.. sorry you feel like throwi g up and i hear you on that tube thing it sux. Wishing both of us a speedy recovery

1st day was the worst day, pain, nausea and vomiting 2nd day more pain, nausea and vomitting. Today, 3rd day - better.

Thank you all for the well wishes! I will write more when I am feeling better =)

Today was the worst the pain a.d swelling...headache...nothing taste good everything smells aweful..only I can manage is nector...pls tell this will pass...

I was doing ok now I'm back in the hospital with pnemonia and a blood clot both on left side. Feeling a little junkie but, know this too shall pass. Hope you all are doing well!

I'm sorry your back in the hospital...I had a problem with my white cell count being super high..I felt aweful..they gave me a couple doses of something all day Wednesday that lasted two hours each...whatever they gave me during surgery made my count a lot higher it should have been...but Im home now the pain is still there...left side swollen nothing stays down or taste good...yea me...

I pray this will pass for all of us..

To all of u that have just been sleeved, first off congrats to you for making a major decision in ur health and taking this step to a healthier happier life!! Continue to stay strong and focused in this process....for I to will be in your shoes in 27 more days. I had my pre op test and blood work done, have to get chest xrays on Monday. I'm excited but nervousness tries to set in often. I wish u all the best, and pray for a healthy recovery and to the best days of the rest of ur lives!!!!

You will do great...positive thoughts...pray always...people like to say your starting another chapter in life...my response to that is to say no...I've finish that book starting a totally different one, that I'm the author of..this is where you write your new book!!! Your in my prayers!!

Thank u and I'm sure I will. And yes, praying is what I have been and will continue to do. Thank u for the positive quote. I love it! I will keep u in my prayers as well! I'm sooooo looking forward to writing my new book and all the exciting things that will go on in it. I think I'll entitle it, "Brighter Dayz"!

I was just thinking, I may have to change that to "Lighter Dayz" bcuz my wedding theme may be, "Brighter Dayz", since my new last name to be is going to be, Bright. Oh well....I'm still looking forward to it all!

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
