Is it because I haven't had a bm in over a week?

LMAO, I'm sorry, but all I could think is "I sure hope you're not backed up that far .).

My guess would be no, I think there would be much mor obvious problems before this would happen.

Have you ease food that is more dense than previously? Are you chewing thoroughly? Taking very small bites?

Yes, teeny tiny bites and chewing forever. But yes, more dense.

I get that feeling when I'm really full. Mind goes away after a bit. When do you get that sensation? How long does it last?

Is it painful? Mine isn't painful, it's just weird. :)

Its most likely acid reflux. You should call your doctor and tell him/her because you need to get on some acid reducders if that's the case. I'm dealing with the same issue. I saw an ENT two weeks ago because I thought the anesthesiologist messed up my vocal chords. After 4 weeks I was still sore and felt tight and like there was food stuck. She took a look with a camera and showed me the redness from the reflux and prescribed 300 mg of Zantac and Delexant. It was working ok, but the past two days have been a bit icky.

I am already on an acid reducer. And it is not painful, but weird. I wake up like that. It feels like that all day long. Ugh.

I'm betting that's the culprit. Dense Proteins, especially chicken is a bit harder to get down & I can only handle about 1/2 as much chicken as I can fish or Beans.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
