Has anyone ever had bad back pain after surgery?

It gets worst the more active you are...i had my one week follow up yesterday and mentioned it to my dr. She took a look at the area where i was complaining about and said it was musculer pain. Ive been able to get around really well since surgery 8/7 and she said that i may be doing a lil too much too soon. Every since i started having the back pain ive been very lucky and every night since i got home from hospital ive been getting a two hour massage from the hubby which really helps a lot. One night i didnt get one and i couldnt sleep the whole night because i was in pain. :-\ good thing he felt bad for me lol cause its not like him to give many massages...

Back pain was the worst pain for me when I had my surgery. When I woke up in recovery, my back was killing me, and it stayed like that for 3 or 4 days. I am 15 days post op and still have some days when my back hurts.

Has anyone ever had bad back pain after surgery?

Yes. Sharp pains. It was my gallbladder. I had it removed last Thursday. Better now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
