  2. I get hungry also. I take Prilosec, get my protein in, but I still get hungry every 2 to 3 hours. I know some people say they don't ever get hungry, but I think the sleeve works differently for everyone. I definitely know when I am hungry!
  3. So sorry you have had such a rough time. This was something I really worried about before being sleeved on Aug. 1., the complications that could happen. I am wishing you the best from here on out!

  5. Birdy18 - I know how you feel! I was sleeved on Aug. 1, the first couple of weeks I was not really hungry. But now, I am starving! I don't get a full feeling like I did before surgery. It seems like I can eat a lot more than I should be able to. I also read about so many people on here that can just eat a couple of bites and be full. That is definitely not me! I am disappointed at this stage, because I was tole that I would not be feeling this hungry.

  7. 3 weeks out for me and I am the same way. I keep a bottle of Propel Zero by my bed and one in the car also!
  8. I bought chewable iron tablets from The Vitamin Shoppe and they are really good!
  9. Wow! How long since your surgery?
  10. My Nutritionist actually recommended the same thing. She said to use sugar free puddings or flavorings to change things up!
  11. Back pain was the worst pain for me when I had my surgery. When I woke up in recovery, my back was killing me, and it stayed like that for 3 or 4 days. I am 15 days post op and still have some days when my back hurts.
  12. I was sleeved on Aug. 1. I am not losing very quickly either. It seems like just about everyone on here is really dropping the weight fast.
  13. Mine lasted about 4 or 5 days. I was feeling the same way you do. It does get better after about the 5th day all around. If you had asked me on day 2 or 3, I would have said I would not do again. Just hang in there!
  14. Thanks all! So many post about losing 40 to 60 pounds in the first 2 months, and I will be no where near that! Just want it to happen!
  15. Okay, I was sleeved on Aug. 1. I had lost 10 lbs. the week before doing my liquids. When I weighed in after my surgery, I had gained 4 pounds while in the hospital. It has now been one week since surgery and I have not lost a pound, not even the ones I gained in the hospital! Getting very frustrated. It seems like the pounds are just melting off of everyone else that posts on here. When we I start losing weight? Thanks
  16. Wow! You look amazing! I can't believe that you have lost so much in 2 months. I am 6 days Post Op and so hungry right now, I can't imagine even losing 10 lbs in a month. You should be so proud of yourself!

  18. I am 6 days Post Op sleeve. I have to tell you that I don't know what it is like having both done at the same time, but for me, I woke up in the recovery room with a horrible backache. I was very, very nauseated and my back killed me for the first 3 days. I still can't lay down in the bed, hurts too bad. I am sleeping in a recliner. My Hydrocodone seems to help some, but not a lot. My Dr. did give me Xanax to help me sleep, I do not take it with the Hydrocone. Best of luck!
