I am going through the process now to obtain a lap band. I have a friend who got one about a year ago and lost a lot of weight. I have scheduled a visit to get more lap band info... seminar I think its officially called, on September 28th. I recently got United Healthcare insurace Choice Plus plan through my boyfriend's fabulous new job and I've heard great things about them. I called and found out I am covered so I am excited. I haven't been miserable about my weight, but I am really ready to put it behind me and be able to focus on LIFE.
