11Day Post Op, How Many Calories Do U Hv A Day?

Recommended Posts

Depending on what I eat, probably around 5 to 700. Not really certain but I am 19 days out and on mushies and I have had some Soups from commercial restuarants that I have pureed and I am sure are not the lowest calorie wise. Really hard to tell.

I am 26 days out and i usually get around 300...im not sure what we are supposed to have but i try to make sure i eat as much Protein as i can get. I dont get the recommended amount of that either...sometimes it seems like i have had way to much to eat but still the calories and protein are low...guess it depends on what you are eating.

Good deal I usually get around 300 to 500 cal a day and just wanting to make sure I'm on track. Your doctor said 600 cal on the burning fat phase...... how long is the fat burning stage? One months six months nine months?

I'm not sure. I think it's just for as long as you're still losing...not yet at goal. Once you're at goal and want to maintain it's 800-1200 and you have to play around with calories to figure out how much your body needs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
