I believe I was weighed a few days earlier at the pre-op hospital visit. I know I was not weighed on the date of surgery.

I was weighed in day of surgery, only because I didn't know my exact weight.

Hmm. I'm curious because I'd like to know how much I have lost from this lovely pre op diet. I don't own a scale because I know I'd be on it constantly. And in pre op class they said 4 patients that had surgery that morning had lost an average of 10-18# apiece

Had my one week post op visit today! Everything is going great. I don't have a single complaint! Dr. Pham is very pleased with my recovery. I am loving life! Also, since the pre-op diet I'm down 22 pounds! Only 90 more to get to my personal goal!

I wasn't at the last one unfortunately. I just was sleeved 8/29 and with school I miss 90% of the groups which I hate because I love them. But I will see you there, I am the young girl :) 2nd youngest patient he's ever had!

I feel younger wished I was lol. I was Sleeved July 11. As for being busy my job is very stressful and I end up working late few times per month depending. I also have a young teen with disabilities. I am still finding time to work out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
