I'm doing ok with it. I'm required to do a 1 week all shake diet pre op, which I've now been doing for almost 2 weeks since my surgery was originally scheduled for the 30th. Then we had to reschedule it, and since I didn't know when my new date would be I just kept doing the diet in case it was soon, and since it ended up being the 9th, I've just stuck with it. I didn't have too, too hard of a time transitioning into it, since I started adding shakes into my diet at least a month or two prior to having to do all shakes. So I think that helped a lot.

Wow, you are so positive. I am having the worst time ever. Mine was a 2 week liquid shake only requirement, and I hate them.

Hah, I think it has more to do with the fact that I'm one of those weird people who actually LIKES shakes. I don't mind the taste, I like the convenience, and I like that they don't require me to do dishes :oP When I feel the need to chew, I break out the SF gum and that takes care of that. I think it also helps that I'm a big Water drinker, so I tend not to get hungry in between the shakes, so by the time my stomach is really screaming for something, it's time for another shake.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
