Keep me posted on how you are doing? Are you doing a required preop? I am miserable!!!

I'm doing ok with it. I'm required to do a 1 week all shake diet pre op, which I've now been doing for almost 2 weeks since my surgery was originally scheduled for the 30th. Then we had to reschedule it, and since I didn't know when my new date would be I just kept doing the diet in case it was soon, and since it ended up being the 9th, I've just stuck with it. I didn't have too, too hard of a time transitioning into it, since I started adding shakes into my diet at least a month or two prior to having to do all shakes. So I think that helped a lot.

Wow, you are so positive. I am having the worst time ever. Mine was a 2 week liquid shake only requirement, and I hate them.

Hah, I think it has more to do with the fact that I'm one of those weird people who actually LIKES shakes. I don't mind the taste, I like the convenience, and I like that they don't require me to do dishes :oP When I feel the need to chew, I break out the SF gum and that takes care of that. I think it also helps that I'm a big water drinker, so I tend not to get hungry in between the shakes, so by the time my stomach is really screaming for something, it's time for another shake.
