Thank you, SoReady!!! I have started to prepare. My Dr said I only needed to do the liquid diet one week before. I'm having my surgery in Marina Del Rey. I'm getting very nervous. But I'm sure that is normal.

Oh how I miss Marina Del Rey........sigh...

Good luck on your surgery.

I had my pre op visit with my surgeon today and it went pretty good. He was human and talk to me not like last time when I feel him to be a robot.

I would have surgery on Friday morning, will find out time on Thursday.

My scale decided to strike :) I only lost .5 lb might be I didn't drink a lot yesterday, will see.

Does anyone has a problem with wanting to cook a lot while on the clear liquid diet? I always want to cook something fancy... it make me feel better :)

The office called and confirmed my surgery for tomorrow morning at 7:30, which means I have to be at the hospital by 5:30 am. I hope I can get some sleep tonight. Hopefully this means that the doctor got out of jury duty!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
