Anyone eat noodles during their soft good stage? If so how much could you eat and how did it make you feel?

Im 3 weeks out and have had some chicken helper. It only took about 3 tsps and I was so stuffed. I let it get soggy in the skillet and then chewed alot. I was ok. Tasted sooo good.

I had some top ramen knowing it is bad for me but better then cheating with sweets lol I was able to eat half the pack and felt fine. Kinda worried that I shouldn't be able to eat that much.

All surgeons and doctor's office are different. I would be chewed out if I attempted noodles at all. I am not allowed them now and I was on liquid phase until Monday (5 weeks out). I am on pureed now and noodles are carbs, it's the main thing we are suppose to be avoiding.

I'd speak to your surgeon. You will lose more weight with Protein and the least amount of carbs. Carbs can be introduced once you reach your goal, if your exercising is increased a lot.

Maybe get your nutritionists advice on this.

Noodles are a slider food, much like popcorn.< /p>

I'm aware of the Carb rule and follow my nut advice. It was my first time eating noodles and I eat nothing but Protein. My surgeon said it was fine once in awhile. I do not plan on never having carbs if I get all my protein in for the day. My nut said carbs are welcome as long as all protein gets in first. I'm just making sure that Im not over eating them. My weight loss has been very good at this point and that's with having some carbs every day. Just wasn't sure about how noodles worked since it was my first time eating them :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
