You too...your appt is at the same time my name is michelle. I am excited for both of us. I was thinking about going to a couple support meetings at memorial. You should join me. They are just once a month. Just a thought not to sound pushy. I wish u the best tomorrow too. (-:

My name is Valerie. I've actually thought about the support meetings, although I was considering the weekly meetings they have during the day, but I will also try to make it to some of the monthly meetings. I know I need the support. :). See you tomorrow (later today)!

I thought that was probably you! My check up went pretty good. He told me to maybe make myself a note to remind me to eat. Who would have ever thought I would need a reminder? I remembered when I got home because I had thinned grits. Yum!

How was your check up?

It was great.Lost 7 pounds. I was having a hard time last week there is only so many Clear Liquids. I ate some instant potatoes last night and I thought I was eating a filet mignon...lol. I wish I would have said something. I might have drove u crazy. I am a talker.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
