Labor Day Challenge 2012

Recommended Posts

K, don't know if we have a formal weigh-in day, but I'm making mine Saturday for now...

Finally cracked 190. Whew! What a freakin' battle it's been! But I'm here and I'm stayin'!

Three pounds down this week. Yay.

How long did it take you to get out of the 190s? I swear I've been here for 4 weeks or more. Today I'm 193 2 lbs from last week down

Labor Day is September 3rd so we have 8 weeks and 4 days in this challenge. How much do you want to lose?

I currently weigh 190.4 and I would like to weigh 175 by Labor Day. I hope this is doable in 8 weeks. My weight loss has slowed downed a lot since my work outs were ramped up.

Here are my goals:

1. Make it to the 170's

2. Lose 15.4 lbs

3. Log food every day into MFP

4. Exercise 4-5 a week

5. Make it to week 10 on Couch to 5 K

Please join me!!!

I had no loss in the 1st weigh in and I cannot weigh in on Monday because I'll be out of town. I am so excited to be off my stall so I decided to go ahead and post an early weigh in.

Today I weighed 186.4. I lost 4 lbs. WOO HOO! 11.4 more to go in 6 weeks. I can do it. Please baby Jesus no stalls!

This morning I weighed @ 296 that means I'm 2 pounds away from 50 pounds I've been stalled for 7 weeks. I ate 3 squares of thin crust pizza of course over 4 hours. There was a break through. Thank God feeling much better. I'm so happy goal to be 285 is looking good for Labor day!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
