Have had severe nause and some vomiting the first day after being sleeved. It was the worst. Has gotten Better with BMs tho. I hope I don't have to deal with that often.

Had my last consultant with the surgeon's nurse Wednesday for my surgery on 6/18. She told us there is really nothing to do about nausea but walking helps a lot.

sending positive vibes. hope you feel better.

I had extreme naseau and vomiting the first 24hrs. I thought I was going to meet my maker.... The doc and staff kept telling me it would go away and I didn't believe them. It did subside on day 2. Once home I felt mildly nauseous a day or two. By the end of week 1 I felt fantastic. Havent been sick since....well, when trying a couple new foods, but that happens.

Can the doc give you something for the nausea? I was nauseous in the hospital and they gave me meds that helped it immediately. My nausea was directly related to the pain meds, so as soon as I stopped them, the nausea stopped as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
