glsun0612 - I added you to our group :)

I received a call from the hospital today. I luckily got to the phone on time, it took me til the third ring because I didn't know my husband and son were outside. I saw my hospital and my heart dropped lol. They changed my time. Arrival was 10:00am - surgery 12:30pm - Now arrival is 6:30am and surgery 9:00am I thought there was a surgery scheduled at 7:30am and it must have been canceled or changed.

Good luck

Mina, I think the earlier time is better, no? I know last minute changes are hard. I've got a dear friend willing to drive an hour to take me to my surgery. But I sure would like a time earlier in the day than 2:30. What are your thoughts right now?

G.

I'm not really thinking. I thought early would be better. The reason I would have liked the later, is after surgery I'm always thirsty and I will not be able to have anything by mouth until after the Upper GI on Tuesday morning. To me later surgery is less time without drinking, but I will rinse my mouth out and be fine. I like the earlier surgery better truthfully.

I did an hour gazelle today and tonight my husband, son and I are going for a walk. I got my sheets washed and on bed, my bedspread is almost dried. We are asked to wash bedding the day before. I have my hebiclens ready for my shower tonight before bed. Tomorrow before going to the hospital, I will have to shower again with hebiclens. The hospital is 5 minutes away so it will be no problem !!!

I hope everyone else is going well.

Oh geez! So glad you mentioned laundering your sheets! I totally FORGOT! :o They're in the wash now! Yikes!!! That was close!

I have the cleansing wipes to use. An HOUR after my shower tonight and NO shower in the morning.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
