Water Water Water!!!! Dark urine is often a sign of dehydration. Yes, it could be from certain medications or you might be spotting a little. Either way, more fluids can't hurt.

Ur urine should may be dark in the AM but it needs to be clear or close to it by the afternoon. If its not then ur probably not getting enough Fluid. Thats what my Dr told me...

try not to get behind on the fluids...i had the flu 2 weeks after my surgery and became dehydrated. I ended up going back to the hospital just to get an IV. The Dr. told me that w/the sleeve, we cannot afford to get behind because we cannot ingest the quantity of liquids we need to get back on track. If I get a little behind, I mix G2 gatorade with Water and put down a glass or two so at least my body will retain some fluids. Just keep sippin!

Vitamins can change the color too. The time I go after taking my B12 is always darker.

My dark urine was dehydration and it led me to a UTI. Be careful!

Urine should be clear or light yellow if you are fully hydrated. It gets darker as you dehyrate, which will give you nausea, headaches and maybe even the poops. Vitamins usually turn mine this funky bright yellow with a tinge of green, like flourescenty? It's weird. But for others its more of a darker yellow. I would say try to drink more Water.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
