I'm 7 weeks out. I went to a party tonight, and over the course of several hours consumed 1,000 calories according to MFP. That makes nearly 1400 calories for the day. My total Protein was 113 and my carbs were 68. I'm still surprised that I could eat that much. I remember feeling frustrated that I couldn't eat more. Now I'm just stunned that I was able to eat as much as I did. Moral of the story: after 30 minutes of eating, just stop.

As long as this doesn't happen often, try not to feel bad! At least you got in lots of Protein. :)

Lol- I did something similar too- I think everyone does this once accidentally. It truly is amazing how easy it is to eat foods that arent filling- sliders- and eat a lot of it! Those calories/carbs/fat just go down way too easy!

Im kinda glad I did, cause now I am acutely aware of the "danger zone" of slipping back into old habits.

You know what they say...... "progress, not perfection." :)

Just think how much you would've consumed pre-sleeve!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
