Party Eating

I'm 7 weeks out. I went to a party tonight, and over the course of several hours consumed 1,000 calories according to MFP. That makes nearly 1400 calories for the day. My total protein was 113 and my carbs were 68. I'm still surprised that I could eat that much. I remember feeling frustrated that I couldn't eat more. Now I'm just stunned that I was able to eat as much as I did. Moral of the story: after 30 minutes of eating, just stop.

Just think how much you would've consumed pre-sleeve!

As long as this doesn't happen often, try not to feel bad! At least you got in lots of protein. :)

Lol- I did something similar too- I think everyone does this once accidentally. It truly is amazing how easy it is to eat foods that arent filling- sliders- and eat a lot of it! Those calories/carbs/fat just go down way too easy!

Im kinda glad I did, cause now I am acutely aware of the "danger zone" of slipping back into old habits.

You know what they say...... "progress, not perfection." :)
