Im Feeling A Little Woozy...

Recommended Posts

I'm 3 weeks post op and every time I stand up I get woozy/ dizzy. I'm drinking enough, getting my Protein and I'm off my pain meds. It's strange that it started just yesterday. Anybody with a similiar story?

Are you on blood pressure meds? Maybe you don't need them anymore.

I was just going to post a similar question but I read this and thought I'd just tag along. I'm 5 weeks out with the same symptoms plus very tired and lacking energy. I know it's not hydration or Protein and my labs all came back 10 days ago and they were spot on. From week 3 to week 5 I felt absolutely great and then this happened. Any ideas?

I get that every once in a while too and I am 12 weeks out today. I am thinking Fluid intake is lacking a bit for me but...I also find if I sit for a extended period of time and get up quickly I get the dizzy feeling too, just for a few seconds tho. I would call your doc to see what he thinks. Good luck to you!

I was just about to post this! Twice today when I stood up I felt like I could pass out. I literally laid on the floor to prevent myself from passing out. I am on blood pressure meds (though I've never had high blood pressure I take it for my heart palpitations) so I'm wondering if it makes my blood pressure too low?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
