Chicken Burger Patties 20G Of Protein

  • Popular Post

I found these Chicken Spinach and Feta cheese burgers at Sam's club that are really good. The brand is Old World Kitchen, I believe they had another flavor too, but can't remember what it was. Anyways they one patty has 20g of protein and only 180 calories. I am able to eat one patty with some tomatoes and lettuce and I am very full with it. Just thought I'd share with you all! Have a grea day!

yes they are and they taste really good. I saw the other flavor online and it's caramelized onions and swiss chicken burger.

  • Costco has a similar product by Amylu, they are carmelized onion, gouda and red pepper chicken burgers. They are really good (although I ate so many of them early on that I burned out on them).

  • Kczar, try them this way: Microwave 3 oz. Spread a laughing cow light habanaro cheese wedge on .25 a joseph's oat and flax lavosh. Put the strips on the cheese. Add some salsa. Taco deluxe! Cou

Trader Joes has these wonderful chile lime chicken burgers that taste great with a slice of pepper jack or the 45 cal Sargento thin cheese slices, some sliced avocado on top.

After how far long after surgery can I eat this? I will make 3 weeks this Tuesday

I was sleeved on 12/15/2012 and still looking for variety in foods. I have a hard time getting my Protein in because I don't like protein shakes/drinks. FYI ...I think they were like 9 for 8 patties.

You were sleeved when now?

I was sleeved on december 15, 2011.

And I would suggest you don't eat these until at least 4-6 weeks after surgery. Chew them very good and put something on it to make them moist. They tend to get very dry.

Yum! Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I too love the Trader Joes Chili lime burger...fabulous!

I bought the burgers at Sam's as well as some chicken meatballs they had in the same case. I cut the patties in 1/2 and bagged individually which also means that I got 16 meals for $9. Woo hoo. The chicken meatballs were bagged 6 to a baggie because serving size said 3, but I find I can only eat 2 at a time. Both are inexpensive and easy way to get protein in. Being they are fully cooked, can zap them in the microwave at work for a quick & easy meal or snack.

How far along are you

I am a little over one month out from surgery.

Costco carries them under the Sabatino's brand as well. I had half a patty last night for dinner. The are soft enough that my NUT let's me have them on the soft-food phase. I put a tiny little bit of gravy on them. Went down great! I love they have that much protein too!

Forgot to add that the Hawaiian Teriyaki meatballs are a great snack with a wedge of the Laughing Cow light blue cheese wedge. I like the contrast of flavors and its only 122 calories and 9 g of protein for 2 meatballs and the cheese.

How far along were you when you started on the patties and meat balls? My sister told me about the meatballs a while back but never got to try them..... Will be purchasing both next time I go to SAMs club :)

If u don't mind me asking, how far along were u when u were able to eat the patties...?

I am three weeks out now. My NUT lets me have these in the soft food stage as long as I put some type of sauce on them. I put a small amount of low fat gravy on them. I also chewed them until they are mush. I could barely eat a half patty. You could probably put some chicken broth along with the patty into a blender and make them in to a really soft mush, but I did okay with the sauce and chewing.
