  1. My doctor said to stay away from aspirin and ibuprofen. She always says Tylenol.
  2. www.myfitnesspal.com or www.loseit.com or www.fitbit.com
  3. The odd sizes are mostly Junior sizes so if you are size 12 womens you would probably fit in a size 13 or 15 in juniors. A 14 maybe a 15/17 . Etc.. I am in a size 6/8 misses and fit in juniors size 9 or 11 depending on the brands. Hope this helps.
  4. I am with you on that one, I hadn't been thin since high school. I had my daughter at age 19 and got to a size 14 and never got smaller than that. I think overall I look good with clothes on(haha). I am now 35 years old, and I think I look younger. I mean the wrinkles are a lil bit more noticeable now, but overall I look younger with the weight off. I was almost 250 lbs 3 years ago and right now I am at 150 lbs. I really do feel great and think I look a lot better and younger.
  5. Just keep going, I would stall for 2-3 months then I really had to get moving to loose. The less you have to loose the harder it gets. I basically have to stay under 1000 calories a day, exercise at least 1 hr, 3-5 times a week, burn at least 300-500 calories in each workout. Then eat mostly protein and veggies, very minimal carbs and sugars. I keep track in myfitnesspal.com ... Good luck!
  6. Yes, I have to work just as hard as they do. I have to work out and eat right just like them. It is not a quick fix for sure. I have stalled for months, but I just have to work harder and get back on track. We can do this!
  7. Good afternoon everyone! Just wanted to give an update. I got sleeved on 12/15/2011, I was a lapband to sleeve revision. I am loosing slowly but surely and I am currently at 152 lbs. I started with pre Lapband at almost 250 lbs and pre Sleeve at 193 lbs. I work out 3-5 times a week and I also drink my protein shakes as a meal replacement at least once a day and try to limit my carbs and sugars. It has taken a lot of work, but I am very proud of my accomplisments and very happy with myself at this point. A little nip and tuck wouldn't hurt but will look into that in the future!!
  8. Has anyone experienced acne after weight loss? It has been really bad for me the past couple of months. I haven't had such bad acne since I was in high school. I would think it would get better, since I eat healthy and non greasy foods. I plan to go to a dermatologist soon, but will try an acne treatment first.
  9. I just got mine but haven't wore them yet. I just tried them out. They are very noisy hehe

  12. Someone shared this link on a VSG FB page and I thought I'd share it. It looks pretty cool to mess around with it. Didn't seem to realistic, because the models look so perfect, but it gives you a general idea of your body shape if you were at certain sizes. It's pretty fun to play around with. Hope you like it! http://corpo.mvm.com/en/shopping/weightloss.php
  13. I was sleeved on december 15, 2011. And I would suggest you don't eat these until at least 4-6 weeks after surgery. Chew them very good and put something on it to make them moist. They tend to get very dry.
  14. I am right there with you! I was stuck for almost a month between 164 and 166, This week a started with protein shakes as meal replacements and no snacking, carbs, or sugars. and in a lil over a week was able to get down to 161.2 as of this morning. I still have 2 more days of this. Then giving myself a break over the weekend and pick it back up on monday! I am determined to get to my goal! hehe
  15. I will let you know when I get them to see how they work and if they work hehe
  16. Has any one tried them? I got a Groupon deal for one and ordered me a pair. Just wondered if anyone else has used them and if they make a difference. Thank you www.zaggora.com
  17. i did try them with bread was only able to eat about half. So now I just eat it without the bread, and top it with avocado, tomatoes, and a lil lettuce.
  18. yes they are and they taste really good. I saw the other flavor online and it's caramelized onions and swiss chicken burger.
  19. thank you all for the tips and encouragement! I try not to stress but that darn scale gets the best of me some days. I feel and look better than ever and I am very proud to have lost a total of 85 lbs already (lapband and sleeve combined). I just really want to win the contest need the $$ and I only have 2 weeks to loose some lbs!! I just remembered I have the syntrax protein drinks, I need to get back on them.
