Kaiser is so crazy... completed Options April 25th and then the long Fontana wait for a Mental Health exam' date=' that was June 25th, today I got the call for my Surgery Consult and I was for Dr. Philip Lou Chin at St. Bernardine's specifically. No Hub referral -with a choice of West LA or Torrance. Dr. Chins first available consult date is Aug. 3rd. Trying to be glad I have that..... but will call his office tomorrow to see how far out his surgery schedule is and if I need to figure out why I was specifically assigned to him and how if possible to transfer to West LA or Torrance.[/quote']

Wow I don't know what they are doing over there. The good thing is you get to stay close to home. It's a long drive to west LA. Keep calling them to ask about getting in sooner.

As of now my surgery date is august 31st. If I lose 10 sooner than my preop appointment I may go sooner. So I'm on a mission, bought a new Protein and I'm going to replace 2 meals with it. And up my exercise.

Congrats to all who are taking this journey.. I too am Kaiser Sleever. I finished my Options class April 27 (Corona classes). I feel very blessed, process seems to have gone so quickly. My Pre-op is this Tuesday July 10th. And my surgery day is two weeks from tomorrow July 23. I'm also Going to be at Kaiser Southbay, my surgeon is Dr. Gary Belzburg. Which I am actually very glad about, because a lot of ppl are being delayed. So I'm happy. Lol. I mean I know its only a few weeks, but a few weeks is a few weeks.

No not yet, she had some infection I guess that she had take care of so it has delayed her process. Plus she had to lose more weight.
