In August 2011, I weighed 167

In October 2011, I weighted 157

On my year anniversary, March 3, 2012, I weighed 156

Today, April 20, 2012, I weigh 155

I continue to eat the same amout of food, have increased my exercise to

no less than 3 days a week ( I walk and jog on the treadmill, no less than 30minutes),

yet, I feel my apetite is slowly returning and I am having difficulty loosing weight.

WHAT am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions/ advise?

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I am 5'2, highest weight was 232.

age: 49

Surgery weight was 217.

I journal my food intake and notice sometimes I get cravings for sweets or salt, I have also been attending Weight Watchers meetings since 3 months in, have been exerciseing 6 months in, usually meet my 62gms of protien daily, regareding Fluid intake, I don't always drink fluids on a daily basis, probably 8-12 daily, I've notice my appetitie is returning, I can now eat a full hamburger patty instead of half....I try to be mindful when eating, pausing, putting my spoon or fork down between bites. I am keeping to 4 meals a day with an afternoon snack (fruits or a drink). The appetite returning scares me and I try to increase my exercise or distractability, fluid intake and re-read my journal....I think I covered most of it.

I believe we would need more information about your eating habits. How much Protein, how many carbs, calories, Fluid intake, supplements, etc? Do you journal your intake? What does your doctor say?

We'd love to help and offer suggestions, but more info is needed!

Good luck on your journey.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
