Monday Funday Question Of The Day!

What has been your proudest NSV yet?

For me, I can't decide if it was finally finding my collar bones (this weekend, woohoo!) or fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes last weekend... Right now they're tied.

For me, it was no longer shopping in the plus sizes and no longer buying clothes with an "x" in them ...next one will be getting to onederland...only .8 away!!!

  • For me it was reaching a small goal of 240 lbs. 40 lbs lighter than when I started this journey, and I haven't weighed this since before I got pregnant with my oldest daughter, almost 6 years ago.

people have always said this to me, it used to go along with "if you werent fat".

In this case I knew what she meant. My step-mother told me: "You are beginning to look like yourself again."

You see, with my fat face, I didn't have a "pretty" face. It was bloated and misshapen. You could hardly see my eyes.

It sounds harsh, but it really is a compliment. What I don't like is when I know people notice, but don't say a thing as if they would be saying: "You look great now, but you didn't use to when you were fat.

It's okay. i know I looked like Uncle Fester with hair when I was fat. Okay, I know I'm still fat, but with marked improvement.

Having people who didn't know me before refer to me as "tiny".

That's awesome everyone!!! I just had my surgery 04/03/2012 and I've lost 23lbs total.. When would you say the lbs start rolling off ? Lol I wanna be a skinny b***h already ha ha it's just an expression excuse my French..

Wow just had the greatest NSV I was at work and a lady came in who was unaware of my surgery and I hadn't seen her in months....She exclaimed (in front of my hubby) Wow Girl what are you doing, you are just glowing....you are like half the person....(well I have only lost 51 lbs so not quite...but non the less)...she just kept ranting and raving....wow...there must really be a difference even though I don't see it yet!

cataracks ~ Ouch! Uncle Fester with Hair. Hilarious.... Actually we are our own worst enemies. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. You are doing great..... ;)
