I am 7 weeks post op and have lost about 30 lbs since surgery and 45 since beginning in December 2011.....my highest weight was 249...I am now floating around 205,206 ish.....anywho...I have extra skin already on my upper thighs! Wtf!!! I knew I would have it on my abdomin but not my legs....I did just buy a thigh master off of ebay so maybe that will help....I'm only 29....anyone else going through this?????

I did, it goes in phases. I would notice I would stall after a large loss, then the skin improves, then I would lose more weight, notice some sagginess-- then the skin improves. In total I have almost zero loose skin at this point and I am almost to goal!!

It might go down. I lost around 50 lbs on my own a few years back and had extra skin on my very upper inner thighs, lower stomach area, and some little "batwings". They all tightened up, but it took a couple of months. I used firming lotions religiously, twice a day as well as dry brushing my skin every night. Now that I gained it all back plus more and now have 120 lbs to lose, I'm hoping it won't be too bad once I get there, but I'm already back on my skin routine.

I'm 56 lbs down and am noticing a LOT of loose skin! I am a member of a gym and exercise regularly so I'm hoping to firm some of it up....if it doesn't....I'd rather be skinny with loose skin than fat and fluffy!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
