Help For My Arms

Recommended Posts

I am 11 months out of surgery and down 124 lbs. I've been exercising and joined a soccer team but my arms are a mess. I don't feel like I can wear tee shirts. I still have 50 lbs to lose so surgery is not an option. The summer is coming and I'm in a wedding in October. Does anyone have good arm toning exercises with good results?

There are a lot of threads around here on this topic. Someone recommended body brushing (google it for info); strength training can potentially help too if you do lots of tricep extensions, etc. There's not really any miracle cure unfortunately. :)

Have you tried doing arm circles? Its just sticking your arms straight out on your sides with your fingers pointed out and moving your arms in circles. You can do big circles then small front to back. Maybe doing those a couple times a day would help? Good luck and congrats on the weight loss!

Small weights (3-5 lb) and high reps are working for me. I do lots of biceps and triceps work, plus shoulder raises, wall push-ups, planks, etc. My batwings aren't gone, but I'm seeing the results very quickly from my routine. Use You Tube's search function and look up some of the arm routines on there. I pull a little from almost every video I watch and it's amazing how quickly the arms show results, IMO.

Good luck! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
