Cramps From Hell And 3 Week Stall.... Bleh :(

Recommended Posts

Holy balls. I have always had bad cramps, but TOM started a few days ago, like clockwork, no surprises (thank goodness), but the cramps are awful! Ahhhhhhhh! I just tried to take some tylenol, it still takes me a few trys to get medication down, so now I am sitting in my cubicle at work, feel stuffed full of the Water I gulped, and crampy... please tell me the cramps get better as months go by?!

I normally had bad cramps pre-seleeve but the period I had the week after surgery was KILLER! That period was not expected at all and the cramps came with a vengeance! My next period after that was surprisingly mild compared to that one and any average cycle before being sleeved. I hope your next one is better, also! I completely feel your pain. :(

Well, I had a Mirena prior to surgery, got it taken out a week before surgery... I haven't had my period yet... I'm so afraid that when it comes, it's gonna COME with a vengeance!!!

Oh my! I can't believe they made you have the Mirena taken out!! I got to keep mine thank goodness.

I got my period the day of surgery on 2/9. It lasted 6 days. Got it again a week later and I started tonight as well. My cramps have been pretty minimal. Normally they are pretty horrible, even with the iud.

Things go wonky after surgery...it usually takes a few months to regulate again so I would say to relax since it isn't permanent. At least that is what I keep telling myself. ;0)

Easier said than done though, right?

I stalled with my first period, too... : ( Hope it isn't a regular monthly event. The period is bad enough, but the stall hits emotionally.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
