Is It Time For A Tummy Tuck?

Recommended Posts

How do you know when it is time to get a Tummy Tuck? How do you know if what you have is a bunch of loose skin, or if you just need to lose more weight? I have lost 80 lbs. and had surgery 7 months ago. I think I may only want to lose another 10 or so, and I wouldn't be able to have surgery for at least another 6 months. Any help would be appreciated!

Someone on another site had such an amazing tummy after working out. You would have thought it was a Tummy Tuck. She had before and after photos including her some extra skin, and exercise alone made it look outstanding, and she's an older woman. I'm sure you are doing all you can do to work on it and not trying to knock down the idea, but try the exercise route first, its way cheaper. If you like, I can ask her what exactly she did.

I am still post op, but fro what I have read on here and from my doctor, is that you need to wait at least 1 year after you have maintained your weight goal. That will give your skin some time to bounce back.

This is usually at least 2 years after the surgery for people, from what I have read and seen.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
