I have always dreamed of being able to wear a pair of sexy distressed jeans from a place like Hollister, American Eagle, or Abercrombie.

Levi's rule. I did buy 2 pairs and they are always slipping down now! Hate to buy more due to the expense. So I'm looking for a belt. LOL

Who knows?? I've been wearing the same 4 pairs of fat, mom jeans for the last several years. I don't even know what's out there anymore. It'll be fun finding out though!!!!

Great topic! I normally don't buy crazy expensive clothes for myself. However, there are a pair of Rock Revival jeans that have my name on them as soon as I get to goal. I too have been wearing the same fat mom jeans for years. My weight and health are not the only things I'm planning on changing! ;) I have a board on Pinterest titled "Dream Clothes" where I save ideas for the kind of stuff I know I'll get to wear someday. It's a fun motivational tool. Here's a link to my "dream" jeans: http://pinterest.com/pin/37576978110497042/

I saw a pair of Levis SKINNY jeans at Kohls that have my name on them! I have skinny legs anyway but can't wait for a flatter belly! I have lost almost 5 inches off my abdomen since surgery! YAY!

That is awesome!! My daughter is real thin and wears those, I do not know if I will ever pull that off.

You will be wearing those sooner than you think.

I have three answers to this question; (1) anything from a trendy store in the mall (2) my daughter's jeans :-) (3) I will never wear them in public but I want to just be able to prance around the house in my size 8 "rockies" that I have had in the attic since 1993 waiting for me to get back to that size.

Heck I had some sz 5 Rockies that I gave away after about 5 years! But I do still have a pair of 7's that I got into for about a month 10.5 years ago. NOW I'd love to get some Miss Me jeans but I won't go spend $100 until my weight is stable for awhile until then I will be hitting the jeans rack at Ross...they sometimes have the cute rhinestone butt jeans real cheap!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
