3 Months Out (with the promised pics!!)

Recommended Posts

Ok fellow sleevers...it's officially been 3 months to the day since I had my sleeve. (I apologize in advance because I'm rushing to post this before I go to the doctor.) In the past three months I have....

1. Lost a total of 54 pounds...which is 26% of my body weight.

2. Learned to love myself again

3. Started working out

4. Started getting my life back!!!

I'll post some follow up comments on here later with more info, but the pictures I promised are attached to this post!

Have a great day and stay strong guys!!!

Thanks guys!! Another thing that I wanted to note is that the difference between the last three pics is ten pounds each. Sometimes I read people saying things like "only ten pounds" and it makes me sad. Ten pounds makes a world of difference!!!

Bitties, CONGRATS on your 3rd month!! You've done soooo good so far! I'm with ya on the feeling sad when people say "I've ONLY lost this much or I've ONLY lost that much". We should all Celebrate every single pound!! No one pound lost is more deserving than any other. :)

Cheers on the rest of your weight loss journey! I'm sure you'll be there in no time.

I was lucky enough to have had my surgery done through my navel so my scars are hidden :) I believe it's called a spider surgery or something like that.

U don't have any scars n u look like u r getting so fit! Congrats!! Thnks for sharing :0)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
