  6. WOW! Congratulations!!
  7. I am six weeks out and recently tried the Saltine crackers and they dont bother my sleeve. How about if you get your all your protein and have about 5 saltines? I am tracking all my calories on myfitnesspal and always stay way under under 1,000 calories with the rule of protein first. Do you think it would become a problem in the future if I continue to allow crackers?

  11. @ apebrown - He would not even schedule me a surgery date until I lost another 10 pounds. He is so strict! Make sure you lose what he asks and dont mess around. I kept the weight off. He does not have much of a personality, but did a good job. They have a great team of nurses, anethesiologist, etc. You need to ask for apple juice (they do not just give it to you) as you get into the last day, it helps to pass gas. You are not alowed to leave until you do. Make sure you bring a robe to put over the hospital gown and slippers - you take alot of walks. Please ask if you have any other questions:)
  12. I did'nt even know I had one in after surgery. When they took it out I felt nothing. Not to worry:)
  13. You might want to try Isopure ready to drink - zero carb (It is not a Protein shake -its like a Koolade). They have 40 grams of protein and not carbs. I like the grape ones:) I get mine at GNC Isopure Website
  14. Thanks for sharing. I am always looking for a good tasting low carb bread:)
  15. Going out tomorrow to buy some pumpkin! Sounds yummy and it kind of gets you in the Halloween spirit:)
  16. Hi Foxbins...When did you start eating steak?
  17. AnneG...Thanks for this information. I have always did well on low carb, but seemed to fall back to the dangerous white carbs. Now with the sleeve, I feel it will not be a problem as we can only eat so much. I want to make sure I get all my protein and low carb is the best way.
  18. I love the Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork. I eat it alone, but hubby and kids have it on buns. If you look in the spice section of the store you will find slow cooker packets (like the taco mix). It comes with all the spices and instructions. I buy the crockpot bag inserts to save on the mess... 19. I start soft foods tomorrow. Have lost 14 pounds since the day of surgery. Don't forget to drink lots of water. Hope you doing ok:)
