Recommended Posts

Has anyone had bad headaches during first days of liquid diet? If so what was your remedy? This is day 4 and it is better so far. Bright side is I have lost 5 lbs so far. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I am drinking some but not a lot because I am full in between Protein Drinks. I feel good other than the headaches. I don't drink caffeine coffee, but I did od on carmel trapped all weekend. I will hydrate more the rest of today and see how it goes. It is better today on day 4 so I am sure more Water will help. Thanks for the reply!!!!

You have to drink alot of Water the first few days, because, you body is going through a cleaning process and all the toxins are coming out, which causes headaches. Plus, the more water you drink, the more you stay hydrated.

I thought I was going to die the first 3 days! It was horrible, the headache the tired feeling. I think its carb withdrawal. If you are getting your fluids (and I assume you are because you're on a liquid diet) then its just time. I felt better on day 4 and continued to feel better each day.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
