Pureed Foods

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I am just curious for when I have the 3-4 weeks of pureed foods. Does anyone buy baby food and eat that instead of preparing it in a blender? The book I have from the sugery center doesnt mention that at all. Any thoughts?

Hi, Well i'm on my 3-4 weeks pureed food and I do not eat baby food. I prepare all my meals and it is easy, I use can chicken and canned tuna with mayo and eggs and season the way I like. I make mashed potatoes with gravy. I have a small processor and a larger one. But i only use the small one. Make sure u prepare enough for a couple of days. Keep sugar free popsicle in the freezer. I have bought mashed Pot from Kentucky and Popeyes chicken. Good Luck it will be fine. I am 43 pounds down and was sleeved on June 13.:D

I bought all my foods from www.blossomfoods.com. They have 5 oz frozen meals that are puréed. The size is perfect for my stomach. In fact I still use them because they are just so convenient and really help keep me on track. The foods are high in Protein and between 100 - 200 calories each.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
