Hi all. Odd post I know but I had to ask if other people were experiencing this. As I've lost weight everything feels so exposed now. I wear kinda tight jeans (not where I have to suck in to zip or anything) and even when I'm sitting in the car or walking it's like they are rubbing on my good stuff. I feel like I constantly have an invisible camel toe now. At first I thought it was just a specific pants that had low rise but no, its all of them. I haven't been this small since Middle school so I suppose this might be what everyone experiences who is of normal weight? I guess my thighs and fat had kept things quit cushioned before. I do wear panties but maybe i need like some padded ones or something <shrug>. Maybe TMI but j ust standing or sitting everything is hidden if you know what I mean I don't have extra good stuff so that it might be easy to rub against jeans etc.

Some of it is the way clothes are cut, I know my "boys" are more snug now because my underwear and pants now fit and are not just loose baggy blobs all stretched out and cut too large to allow the fat to squish around. Let's face it, fat people in tight clothes usually look disgusting (I certainly did). Slim (or getting slim) people in a nice right fitting set of clothes look sharp and neat. I've had a LOT of compliments on the way my clothes fit me now, especially from ladies :D .

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have several pairs of jeans that I don't want to wear because of the "snug" fit. My husband is like "suffer for beauty - you look awesome in those". :P How can I say no to that?!?!?!?

I had the same issue. Although I feel so dam good, I don't mind it so much. Nice to know I'm not the only one : )

This thread should come with a warning! I busted out giggling and doused my moniter in coffee. OMG I can't wait to have these problems! Rubbing on the good stuff, eh? NICE! LOL

Not yet, but then again even when I was thinner, I always had a good amount of fat padding in the "girl department".

Too funny. I sooo don't get it though. I'm hear thinking if the jeans are rubbing on the good stuff, I may walk faster. :D

With you on that one Heather!!

This is hysterical. But in all seriousness, I do have this problem as well and sometimes it can be funny like, "woah hello there!" But sometimes it can actually be painful, not to mention that it looks just awful. Nobody in the world wants the dreaded Toe so unless I am willing to wear really thick and stiff girdle panties =( I have to wear tunic length shirts with pants, just like I was still fat!!

Also BTW, anybody have the problem of bruised hipbones from the waistband of lowrise pants? I'm still fat (179) and this is already a problem.

I think in the long run you will lose enough weight the you won't have the "toe". I know how embarrassing it can be. Just hang in there and be patient.

I would think rubbing on the good stuff is a good thing...

Pant cuts are different. You also have less fat in your upper pelvic area = smaller upper pelvic area = less coverage.

Look at a porn with skinny women. Their "good stuff" is clearly visible when they just stand there.

Haha, hi! Yeah I went on vacation then moved and started a new job. It's been a bit of a struggle with food and carbs, see my "one year anniversary" post in general sleeve discussion. Though I did just break a 2 month stall, went from 184 to 179 in 4 days because I reigned in my carbs and got back to the gym but Im thinking I need to be back here on VST more because I clearly need my support network.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
