Well girl, I recognize many of those faces... and all of them were super nice, encouraging and upbeat in the face of stalls and other uncomfortable topics. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Yay you! That's fantastic! Your story is inspiring! I love the different face shots. You can tell such a difference. You look great! Good luck to you as you get out of your stall and work on those 40lbs. I'm sure you'll be to goal in no time! :D

OGM...I cannot believe you have made such progress in just 7 months! It is amazing to see how your face has changed and you look so beautiful. :rose:

Thanks so much for posting these pictures. It is hard to understand how important visuals like this were to me when I would wake up and have the 2 AM doubts and question my sanity. I'd log onto VSG Talk and find some lovely pictures like this, calm down and go back to bed reassured that I am on the right path! Congratulations on your success and I honestly can't imagine how you are going to look even better in the future because you look so great now!

@Looou, you know it is my long term goal to complete my education with become a RD. I really want my focus to be on bariatrics as well. THAT would be the most rewarding thing I could do with my life, and my way of giving back to my community. I believe it's now my calling. :)

@feed; @speedy; @sunny; @MrsK - I just have to tell you all THANK YOU!!! :)

@Beading, just keep strong lady! You ARE making the right decision. I pondered it for over a year, watching the progress of most of my ex-bandster friends just melt away. I finally decided I needed to do something, and NOW!!! Now I'm sitting wishing I'd done it sooner. However, maybe I wasn't truly ready - I truly believe GOD opens all doors, and only when HE's ready. Hugs!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just want to add a little blurb to this thread: This morning I FINALLY BROKE MY STALL!!! I'm down over 3 Lbs overnight!!! So... moral of the story - keep working your sleeve and it WILL WORK FOR YOU!
Staying positive... that's what I'm all about. :D :D :D
      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.
      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
