I was told everything goes. My tragus is old so there wasn't an issue with leaving it open. I had a vc filter put in the day before. I planned to go to the piercers to have my tragus taken out when I left the hospital, but they wouldn't even do the filter with the tragus still in. A nurse removed it for me. She did a good job, except the hoop got bent. When I went to the piercers to get the tragus put back in a month later I ended up buying new jewelry.

I was able to leave mine in and tape over them. Just 3 lobe piercings both sides, and an industrial on the right which I put hoops in so nothing would snag the ends.

That one you might...it would be up to the anesthesiologist and nurses. But it should go back in when you wake up easily enough

Oh no!! I didn't even think of having to take out my piercings!! I'll have to go get my septum piercing out because its hard for me to get it out myself.

Ugh! I'll have to go to the piercing place to get the one in my ear out then I guess cuz I can't get it out on my own.

Yes, they all have to be removed. I had to take off my engagement ring. Good thing I took all my piercing out a few years ago lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
