Menstrual Cup?

Recommended Posts

Because of this thread, I tried them Instead Disposables during my last period. It does take some getting used to as far as positioning and removing. But, once I got used to it, I really liked it. HOWEVER, on heavy days, I cannot go 12 hours. I had an "overflow" so that was a little messy. Lesson learned for next month.

Tip - I purchased 14 at Walgreens for $8.99. Drugstore.com had 24 for $8.99. And, since I had other items I needed, I was able to put in an order for $50 & got free shipping!

OK sorry for the graphic nature here but hey we're in the ladies room right?... Does it get all over your hand when you fish it out? I can't even use OB tampons. I just can't go fishing around up in there during that time of the month. Really, is it messy?

I've used both the Instead and the Diva Cup. I've converted many people I know to the cup... best invention ever. It does take some getting used to. In the beginning, I had a little mess on my hand to clean up so I learned to take a wetted paper towel into the ladies room when I went. Now, I can pull it out, empty, wipe and reinsert with very little spillage!

I tried these when they first came out and had spillage and never quite got the hang of it, it just kinda icked me out. Since everyone here has had good luck with them, maybe I'll get some for my daughter. I don't need them anymore since my hysterectomy...SCORE!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
