Where should I buy my chewable vitamins? What brand?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'd like some info on where I can buy chewable viamins? Can we take chewables during the liquid phase? I believe I'm not supposed to take them until week 3, but when I do what kind of chewables do I need?

Thanks!!

Talk to your surgeon about specifics.

My surgeon wants everyone on a high quality, ADULT, Vitamin. I have been taking GNC Solotron with bioavailable Iron since before my band surgery. So, I've just stuck with them because my labs have been perfect.

There are a lot of chewables out there for you. My program requires that the Vitamin meet the 100% recommended daily value of all the main Vitamins. You can find Centrum chewables at Wal-Mart. Just make sure it has Iron.

You can check out vitacost.com

bariatricadvantage.com (I've never used anything from them, and a lot of people love their chewables, others hate them because they get nauseated).

I also take a sublingual B12 meltaway that I buy at Wal-Mart for $5 for a 60 day supply.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for, a brand. I'll check for the B12 at Walmart today and probably go with the GNC chewable's if my Dr. gives the OK for them.

Also, why the b12? Are we more likely to become deficient in it?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
