Where should I buy my chewable vitamins? What brand?

Hi,

I'd like some info on where I can buy chewable viamins? Can we take chewables during the liquid phase? I believe I'm not supposed to take them until week 3, but when I do what kind of chewables do I need?

Thanks!!

Talk to your surgeon about specifics.

My surgeon wants everyone on a high quality, ADULT, Vitamin. I have been taking GNC Solotron with bioavailable Iron since before my band surgery. So, I've just stuck with them because my labs have been perfect.

There are a lot of chewables out there for you. My program requires that the vitamin meet the 100% recommended daily value of all the main Vitamins. You can find Centrum chewables at Wal-Mart. Just make sure it has iron.

You can check out vitacost.com

bariatricadvantage.com (I've never used anything from them, and a lot of people love their chewables, others hate them because they get nauseated).

I also take a sublingual b12 meltaway that I buy at Wal-Mart for $5 for a 60 day supply.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for, a brand. I'll check for the B12 at walmart today and probably go with the GNC chewable's if my Dr. gives the OK for them.

Also, why the b12? Are we more likely to become deficient in it?
