Diane--I would LOVE to make this one, but I dont think that it is a very good day for me since it is the day before surgery. I am probably going to be feeling rather nervous and not so much like socializing...I do have a generalized anxiety disorder...if that helps to understand. However, I will totally be up for the next one, and I will probably be banded by that time too!!!

Good afternoon all,

I have been sick, a bad cold, I have not logged into this site in days. Count me in for Sunday. What time are we meeting?

I reserved a table for eight though I have only RSVP's for 4 so far. There was nothing available for 12 noon, so I made it for 11:00 a.m. If we get more responses than 8, I will call and see if we can have 2 tables put together or something. Please let me know if you are RSVPing for more than one person so I can keep a correct seat count.

I have:

Myself

Mandy

Melissa

LadyK

Good luck to Veggiestyle on her liquid diet and we will see you next time!

If anyone else is interested please let me know as soon as possible.

I can't make it, my daughter has a horrible case of chicken Pox and I can't leave her with a sitter. The doc says it will last 7-10 days so I am sure we will still be itching on SUnday. I am in for the next one for sure. ~Mandy

Geez, sorry guys! I don't get time to check this site very often. I guess I missed the whole planning phase of this get together.

Unfortunately, I cannot make it to Schaumburg. I live in Chiciago and I don't have a car. Maybe next time we can make it someplace in the city (or at least accessable to the CTA).

Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Sue

Hey, what name is the reservation under? I am tall, with short brown hair and a black and gold coat....what does everyone else look like?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
